Appeal for Donations from the public for the Vieille Eglise (Old Church)

The Fondation VMF (Vieilles Maisons Françaises) has launched an appeal for money for the 11^th Century Vieille Eglise. At least 10,000 Euros are needed for urgent repairs. The Foundation will give matching funding up to 5,000 Euros towards this sum providing that the public subscription also raises 5,000 Euros.

The church is a listed building with carved capitals and wall paintings and has been selected by the Foundation at national level with 3 other projects. The appeal is open until 14^th November and tax relief is available to French residents. Payments can be made on line or by cheque sent to the Foundation.
